Nicknamed "Deathmask" due to his icy facial expression which barely changed throughout every fight, Veeraphol Sahaprom was a hugely successful fighter during the golden era and certainly one of the best boxers ever to fight in the sport. He was a calm and calculated fighter who had precision accuracy and timing in his punching and a knack for knocking his opponents unconscious. Veeraphol won 3 Rajadamnern titles in muay Thai before switching to western boxing where he won the WBC belt and dominated his division for many years.
