Ann Lindsey, Head of Conservation for the University of Chicago Library, preserves a 150-year-old map in the Conservation and Digitization laboratories inside the Joe and Rika Mansueto Library. UChicago has one of the largest map libraries in North America, with 475,000 maps, 10,000 air photos, 2000 books, and hundreds of gigabytes of spatial data.
