She's been the victim and the survivor... Poppy never dreamed she would find the love she’s found with Prince Casteel. She wants to revel in her happiness but first they must free his brother and find hers. It’s a dangerous mission and one with far-reaching consequences neither dreamed of. Because Poppy is the Chosen, the Blessed. The true ruler of Atlantia. She carries the blood of the King of Gods within her. By right the crown and the kingdom are hers. The enemy and the warrior... Poppy has only ever wanted to control her own life, not the lives of others, but now she must choose to either forsake her birthright or seize the gilded crown and become the Queen of Flesh and Fire. But as the kingdoms’ dark sins and blood-drenched secrets finally unravel, a long-forgotten power rises to pose a genuine threat. And they will stop at nothing to ensure that the crown never sits upon Poppy’s head. A lover and heartmate... But the greatest threat to them and to Atlantia is what awaits in the far west, where the Queen of Blood and Ash has her own plans, ones she has waited hundreds of years to carry out. Poppy and Casteel must consider the impossible - travel to the Lands of the Gods and wake the King himself. And as shocking secrets and the harshest betrayals come to light, and enemies emerge to threaten everything Poppy and Casteel have fought for, they will discover just how far they are willing to go for their people - and each other. And now she will become Queen... ©2021 Jennifer L. Armentrout. (P)2021 Brilliance Publishing, Inc., all rights reserved.

This is hands down the best book in there series. The ending is another cliff hanger. Makes you gasp“No!” Not knowing when the next will be out. Fantastic job.
I devoured this book after months of anticipation. it surpassed my expectations. I can't wait for the next one.
I can’t stop listening to this series. I generally get mad at endings but this series makes me just want more. I feel like this book is unique and funny and sexy and I recommend it to all of my girlfriends.
This book is slow moving. It’s almost like the author was figuring the plot out herself as she wrote it. She just throws things/characters in the book with no build up or apparent plan. The reader is decent; she reads with emotion, although her range of accents is limited to general British and American. The first book in this series was much better. They’ve gotten progressively worse. I doubt I’ll read the next one in the series even though she does end on a cliffhanger.
this book was sooooo long winded lost interest fast so to each his own this book was just not for me
I’m so upset at how bad this was. The first two books were incredible and this one just completely missed the mark. They talked in their bedroom for literal HOURS. So boring so repetitive and barely any action. Nothing like the first two books.
The good first: the reader's performance is outstanding, and she manages to breath life into the boring bits. The actual story and action parts of the book are really good, but there is relatively little of it compared to super long conversations and gratuitous sex scenes. I definitely enjoy a good sex scene but none really moved the plot forward like they did in the first book. I like the story enough to anticipate the next book but know I will probably have to slog through three chapter long conversations and strangely placed sex scenes. It seems like the last 2 books could have been edited into a one that had high potential for 5 stars.
This book drags more than the others in the series. 1/4 to 1/2 could be cut out.I found myself fast forwarding a lot. If you ever wanted to be in the head of a teenager then this book series is for you. The story is actually good, but so hard to get through. The author dragged out the 2 main characters realizing that they love each over for way to long that it became annoying. I also found myself fast forwarding through most of the sex scenes (there are a lot)…. I just kept wanting to get to the end! I was highly disappointed that this isn’t the last book in the series. I’m guessing book 4 could actually be whittled down to a chapter. I don’t think I will get the last book at least not for awhile as I need a break!
This book was painfully slow at the beginning. The trilogy had promise. I was let down in the second but completely devastated by the third. Horrible and descriptive writing does not put you in the setting seems like you’re getting a secondhand narration from someone else who has already read the book and is leaving out important details. If Poppy said “I have so many questions” one more time I would have thrown up. Also the word “dragged” is overused by about 8 times.
