In October 1992, on a classic Fight Night Promotion held on a Tuesday night in Heidelberg, Victoria, Phil Roberts and Lou Gianitsopoulos went head-to-head in a hard-fought 3-round kickboxing contest. Back in the early '90s, Fight Night promotions were helping build the Australian kickboxing scene, giving up-and-coming talent and experienced warriors the chance to test themselves in front of passionate fight fans. Every bout mattered, and every victory had to be earned.
