This video showcases an excellent drill you can do with a partner to develop better timing and distance in your knee strikes. It is a simple drill that can help you learn how to get into range to throw your knee against a partner. Since knee strikes are one of the highest scoring techniques in Muay Thai, this is an excellent drill to help you sharpen up your knees. One thing you need to remember is to focus on resetting your position after you throw each strike. If you can develop effective knees in Muay Thai you will be able to utilize them very effectively against your sparring partners and opponents.
