the unlikely suspect, the family friend, and the girlfriend... who was this person? really? So many twists and turns. hard to believe who the actual culprits were.
This is the second time I’ve bought a book on audible based on good reviews. Any HONEST reviewer would rate this book badly. It’s extremely unrealistic with unlikable characters.Dishonest reviews are a big problem for Audible.
This is the most repulsive book I have ever had the displeasure to read. The entire book does nothing but describe (in excruciatingly lengthy and minute detail) the sexual, physical, emotional, and psychological abuse perpetrated on to the characters involved. There is no reason, there is no explanation, there is no redemption, and there is certainly no justice for any of these characters. This author is pathetically ignorant of the ramifications of continually describing abuse and attempting to bring about the desensitization of these important issues. Avoid at all costs.
