Lyons hit Kayla with a split legged splash to win the match. A month later on Level Up, she was now Kiana James and she faced Ivy Nile, where Nile tapped her out. Three weeks later, she faced Paxley. Paxley hit James with a twisting senton to win the match. A month later, James entered the Breakout Tournament. Next week, she faced Roxanne Perez in the first round. Roxanne hit James with the Pop Rocks to advance. Nile was training backstage two weeks later. James appeared, asking if all she does is work out. Nile said when she’s not competing, she is working out. James told Nile when Pretty Deadly will beat the Creed Brothers, she has to find a new team. Nile said it’s Dimond Mine forever. A week later on NXT, she was in a battle royal. She eliminated Henley. Made the last four and got eliminated by Lyons. A week later, James did a presentation on what’s wrong with the women’s division.
