Being at a size disadvantage is nothing new for Latasha but experience making the most of that advantage is more of a challenge. Josie isn’t about make the mistake of underestimating her either. While the opening lockups may seem like more of a literal dance than the figurative one Josie always seems a couple moves ahead and makes them count. Latasha’s midsection is a magnet for sneaky offense at first then blatant strikes as the match progresses before a grueling leglock reduces her mobility. Josie easily withstands a comeback attempt and goes right back to the legs locking in a tight Figure Four! Latasha’s heart is as big as all outdoors and on full display as she first endures and then reverses the Figure Four despite inflicting even more punishment on herself. Josie is first to beat Referee Chasyn’s count but both are on one leg, but Latasha is starting to believe and gives it everything she’s got left. Is it enough to overcome the veteran or is she still a move ahead?
