Sean O'Malley had said that he wanted to be the Michael Jordan of the Bantam Weight division. With an undefeated status, consecutive wins in spectacular fashion and a beautiful style overall, many were starting to truly believe in the sugar shows skill and abilities... A young man as talented as him, barley taking any damage if at all each fight; truly his rise was an incredible watch up until this point. Unfortunately, in his most recent bout versus Marlon Vera, Marlon "chito" vera had struck the peroneal nerve which caused Sean O'Malley's foot and toes to act strange. Sean had said that he suffered the same foot problem as the one versus Andre Soukhamthath, but this reaction was very similar to the one displayed by Henry Cejudo when Henry defeated Demetrius Johnson. In that sense, MMA Analyst the Weasle may have been on to something with his breakdown of the foot in correlation to the peroneal nerve.
