This is how The Bar came together. In August 2016, Mark Henry received a shot at the US Title. Mick Foley got confronted by Sheamus, regarding that decision. Cesaro interrupted, saying that nobody wants to see Sheamus challenge for the title. Foley put them in a match and whoever impresses him, will receive a title shot, where Cesaro won with the Neutralizer. They had a rematch a week later, where Cesaro rolled up Sheamus for the win. Foley was in the ring. US Champion Rusev interrupted. Cesaro also interrupted, telling Foley to give him his shot, who said that Sheamus almost had him. Cesaro thought he’s a man of his word and Foley gave it to him. Sheamus intervened and Rusev retained. A week later, Sheamus faced Sami Zayn. Cesaro distracted Sheamus and Sami hit him with the Helluva Kick to win the match. Sheamus and Cesaro were arguing backstage, Foley stopped them and put them in a best of seven series, with the winner getting a title shot. Sheamus made it 1-0 on the Summerslam kick-off. He made it 2-0 next week on Raw. He made it 3-0 a week later. Cesaro beat Sheamus at a house show to make it 3-1. Cesaro made it 3-2 on Raw and a week later, he made it even. The last match was at Clash of Champions. Both of them went over the barricade and neither of them could continue, ending in a draw. On Raw, Foley gave them a shot at the Raw Tag Titles. Then they faced Nick Cutler and Willis Williams. Cesaro went for the Neutralizer, Sheamus hit Willis with the Brogue Kick and Cutler followed. Cesaro told him he had it and they won the match. Sheamus got in front of Cesaro and they started arguing. A week later, they were forced to drive together. They started arguing and Cesaro tossed Sheamus’ luggage. Foley made them ride together because he believes in them. Then they faced Mark Carradine and Raul White. Cesaro jumped over him and caught Raul with a DDT. They started arguing and Sheamus hit Mark with the Brogue Kick to win the match. A week later, Kofi Kingston beat Cesaro, who then blamed Sheamus for it and he had eno
