Neil deGrasse Tyson is, by far, my all time favorite person. I get more inspiration from him than anyone or anything ever. He makes my simple brain understand very complicated things. This book is amazing and inspirational to me, because space is my favorite thing. I love his way of teaching.

It feels like an informercial. Switching narration back and forth.I bought this book at midnight the day it was released and would of finished it in one sitting if Tyson had done the full narration. I don’t blame the other person, I blame the idiot that thought this was a good idea for an audio book. The whole reason Neil deGrasse Tyson is great at teaching is that he draws his audience in with his voice and humor about complex theories and information. What a disappointment, he should go back and re-record it on his own. The science is great but so distracting when he and the woman volley subjects back and forth. I feel like it was a bait and switch. He was the only one on Colbert advertising his book, which is why I bought it. I am having a hard time finishing a 6 hour read when I would of had that done in an evening but the distractions make it hard to get through. Buy the book and read it instead without the distractions.

If you listen to Star Talk or have read any of Neil’s other books, there isn’t much new here. It’s good content and interesting. The transition for different tweets that are read out is this high pitched, ear splitting ringing. It’s completely obnoxious and unnecessary and makes it so I don’t even want to listen to the book. I’d recommend buying a hard copy to read unless you enjoy the sound of nails on chalkboard.

I read anything written and watch and listen to everything I can get my hands on, which has Dr. Neil Degrasse Tyson's name on it.for those who are science junkies and can't get enough Tyson's work is about the best out there.the conbination of rich content with a creative delivery style, Tyson's delivery can be compared with a glorious dinner in Paris by a great chef. His passion for astrophysics is contagious and addictive.Dr. Tyson always sends me into a cosmic journey that continues many days after finishing the read. This book is no different from his other works in terms of inspiration. I often listen to his books at bedtime sending me into a world of dreams, so when Iwake up, I often am inspired to write.

I’m a big Neil deGrasse Tyson fan, and will listen to anything that he narrates as he is animated, enthusiastic, and entertaining to listen to. Unfortunately, he doesn’t narrate this whole book and instead half the chapters are narrated by someone who is almost impossible to tolerate listening to. The chapters that she narrates are unbearable; I pretty much just want to skip over them until deGrasse Tyson narrates again. She has a strange, slightly high-pitched and almost nasally sound that doesn’t make sense for this book.she completely ruins the listening experience.
